Rise Theatre Arts began with a simple truth: creating excellent productions and building exceptional community can be the same goal.
We believe that when students find a welcoming place to belong, they’re set up to succeed. Our approach says yes to high standards and no to high pressure. We believe that care for students can walk hand-in-hand with challenging them to rise.
Here, we equip students with skills, develop their character, and cultivate friendships that will last well beyond opening night. We love a good show; all told, our founders have been part of nearly 260 of them. But when the curtain closes, we believe the journey is far from over. The people — from the lead character to the first-time ensemble performer and the director to the stagehand — they are what matters most.
